Welcome, all who have come! I am honored by your presence and your wish to read my works! May my poetry please you as much as it does me.
Chasing The Storm This is a very personal poem, that I suppose could be interpreted any number of ways. What it means to me may not be the same as it is for you, but in the end, at the core of the poem, it is about regaining the sense and strength of self.
A Very Bad Nightmare I wrote this poem as kind of a way to laugh at all of those feelings of doubt that you often have about yourself in anything you do. I figure if you can stand the pressures of the world and Satan when they try to put you down, and still stare them in the face, being able to laugh and go on, you can do anything.
Nightmare of VisionThis is one is definetly one of my less lighthearted poems. I originally wrote it for a poetry contest(which it didn't win)but, anyway, it meant and still does mean a lot to me. There is a lot of symbolism in this one, with Good vs. Evil in an epic Celtic style set in Modern Times. But I also wrote in defiance of some of the things I have found despicable in the Christian Church. They have "toned down" the power of God in their beliefs, saying that he has nothing to do with the supernatural, or that which we cannot comprehend. And then they, in a way, persecute those who still believe in the magic that exists in everything that he has made.
